Normal Operation: Set temperature to -18°C. The Frost Free system operates automatically. The Fast Freeze function should be turned off after 24 hours to save energy.

Using Your Freezer

For optimal performance and food preservation.

  1. Storing Food: Allow hot food to cool before freezing. Package food in airtight containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn. Label packages with date and contents.
  2. Organisation: Use shelves and door bins efficiently. Do not overfill; allow cold air to circulate.
  3. Fast Freeze: Activate 24 hours before adding large quantities of fresh food. Deactivate after 24 hours.
  4. Ice Making: Fill ice tray with water and place on a shelf. Do not use sharp objects to remove ice.
  5. Power Failure: Keep door closed. Food will remain frozen for several hours if the freezer was full.

Tip: A full freezer is more energy-efficient than an empty one. Use bags of ice to fill empty space if necessary.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the appliance before any cleaning or maintenance.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Interior: Remove all food. Clean shelves and liners with a solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water (1 tbsp per litre). Rinse and dry.
  3. Door Seals: Clean gently with soapy water to ensure a tight seal. Check regularly for damage.
  4. Condenser Coils (rear): Vacuum dust from the rear grille every 6 months to maintain efficiency.
  5. Defrosting: Not required due to Frost Free technology. Any minor frost should melt automatically.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents. Never pour water inside or over the appliance.
