Controls and Operation

The control panel is located on the front upper rim of the freezer.

Thermostat Dial: Rotate to set temperature. Settings range from 1 (warmest) to 5 (coldest), or MIN to MAX. The middle setting is recommended for normal use.

Fast Freeze Switch: Press to activate. The compressor will run continuously to quickly freeze fresh food. Remember to turn it off after 24-48 hours.

Indicator Lights:
Green (Power): Lit when the appliance is connected to power.
Red (Alarm): Flashes if the internal temperature rises significantly (e.g., during prolonged lid opening or power failure).

Defrosting & Cleaning

Manual defrosting is required when frost build-up exceeds 5-7 mm.

  1. Prepare: Remove all food, wrap it in newspapers, and store in a cool place.
  2. Turn Off: Turn the thermostat dial to "0" and unplug the freezer.
  3. Defrost: Leave the lid open. Place towels inside to absorb melting water. Do not use sharp objects to remove ice.
  4. Clean: Once defrosted, clean the interior with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  5. Restart: Plug in, set the thermostat, and wait 30 minutes before reloading food.

Tip: Defrost when the freezer is nearly empty for easier handling.
