  2. Level the freezer: Use adjustable feet to ensure the unit is perfectly level for proper lid seal and operation.
  3. Electrical connection: Plug into a grounded 220-240V, 50Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  4. Initial rest: Let the freezer stand upright for at least 4 hours before first power-on after transportation.

WARNING! Do not place heavy objects on the lid. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare the freezer for first use.

  1. Initial cleaning: Wipe the interior with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Dry thoroughly.

Controls and Settings

Primary controls are located on the front or side panel.

Thermostat Dial: Rotate to set temperature. Settings range from MIN (warmest) to MAX (coldest). A mid-setting is recommended for normal operation.

Fast Freeze Switch: Press to activate. The compressor will run continuously to rapidly lower the temperature. Use when adding large amounts of unfrozen food. Remember to turn it off after 24 hours or once food is frozen.

Power Indicator: Green LED indicates the appliance is connected to power.

Food Storage Guidelines

For optimal food preservation and energy efficiency.

  1. Pre-cool hot food: Allow cooked food to cool to room temperature before freezing.
  2. Package properly: Use airtight containers, freezer bags, or wrap to prevent freezer burn.
  3. Label and date: Mark all packages with contents and date of freezing.
  4. Do not overfill: Allow space for cold air to circulate around packages.
  5. Organize: Use the basket for frequently used items. Place older items on top for first use.

Tip: The fast freeze compartment (if designated) or area near the cooling elements is best for freezing fresh food quickly.

Defrosting & Cleaning

This is a manual defrost freezer. Frost buildup will increase energy consumption.

  1. When to defrost: When frost layer exceeds 5-7 mm thickness.
  2. Preparation: Remove all food, place in a cool box or another freezer.
  3. Turn off & unplug: Switch off the thermostat and disconnect the power plug.
  4. Remove drain plug: Locate the drain outlet at the bottom front and remove the rubber plug. Place a shallow pan underneath.
  5. Speed up defrosting: Place bowls of warm (not boiling) water inside the freezer. Never use sharp tools or heaters to remove ice.
  6. Clean interior: Once ice melts, wipe interior with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Clean the drain channel.
  7. Dry & restart: Dry thoroughly. Replace the drain plug. Restore power, set thermostat, and allow to cool before reloading food.

CAUTION! Never use sharp objects to chip away ice. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives.
