Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Positioning: Allow at least 5 cm clearance at back and sides for ventilation.
  2. Leveling: Adjust feet using a wrench to ensure freezer is level.
  3. Door reversal (optional): Follow instructions in manual to change hinge side.
  4. Power connection: Plug into grounded 220-240V, 50Hz outlet.
  5. Initial wait: Let freezer stand upright for 4 hours before first use.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare freezer for first use.

Tip: Do not place hot food directly into freezer. Allow to cool to room temperature first.

Defrosting

Manual defrost required when ice buildup exceeds 5 mm.

  1. Preparation: Remove all food, place in coolers or another freezer.
  2. Turn off: Set thermostat to "0" or unplug freezer.
  3. Speed up defrost: Place bowls of hot water inside and close door for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove ice: Use plastic scraper (provided) to gently remove ice. Wipe melted water with sponge.
  5. Clean: Wash interior with solution of water and bicarbonate of soda. Rinse and dry.
  6. Restart: Plug in, set thermostat to desired setting. Reload food when temperature is reached.

WARNING! Never use sharp metal tools or heaters to defrost. Risk of damaging cooling system and electric shock.

Energy Saving Tips

Ensure door seals are clean and tight. Avoid frequent or prolonged door opening. Position away from heat sources. Allow hot food to cool before freezing. Defrost regularly. Keep freezer at least ¾ full for efficiency.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Exterior: Clean with mild detergent and soft cloth. Interior: Use bicarbonate of soda solution. Door seals: Clean with water only to maintain elasticity.
