Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Positioning: Allow at least 5 cm clearance at back and sides for ventilation.
  2. Leveling: Adjust the front feet to ensure the freezer is level.
  3. Electrical Connection: Plug into a grounded 220-240V, 50Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  4. Initial Standby: Let the freezer stand upright for at least 4 hours before first use.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure the plug is accessible.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare the freezer for use.

  1. Power On: Plug in the appliance. The control panel will illuminate.
  2. Set Temperature: Press the TEMP button to set the desired freezer temperature (recommended -18°C or lower).
  3. Activate Fast Freeze: If loading a large amount of food, press the FAST FREEZE button 24 hours beforehand.
  4. Loading: Place food items, ensuring proper air circulation around packages.

Loading the Freezer

For optimal performance and food preservation.

  1. Pre-cool: Use FAST FREEZE function before adding large quantities.
  2. Packaging: Use airtight containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn.
  3. Arrangement: Do not block air vents. Leave space between items for air circulation.
  4. Shelves: Adjust shelf heights to accommodate different sized items.
  5. Door Balconies: Store frequently used items or smaller packages here.

Tip: Label and date all packages. Follow the "first in, first out" rule.

Defrosting

This model features automatic defrosting. No manual defrosting is required for the freezer compartment.

The defrost water evaporates automatically. Ensure the appliance is plugged in and operating for this process to work.

Cleaning: For general cleaning, see the Care & Cleaning section. If ice buildup occurs on the interior walls despite automatic defrost, contact service.

Care & Cleaning

  1. Unplug the freezer before cleaning.
  2. Remove all food and store in a cool place.
  3. Clean interior with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Wipe door seals gently to keep them clean and elastic.
  5. Clean exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  6. Clean the condenser coil at the back (if accessible) with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner annually.

CAUTION! Never use sharp objects to remove ice. Never use chemical or abrasive cleaners.
