Maintenance & Defrosting

Manual defrost is required when frost build-up exceeds 6-7 mm.

  1. Preparation: Turn thermostat to "0" and unplug the freezer.
  2. Remove Food: Place frozen food in insulated coolers or another freezer.
  3. Defrosting: Leave the lid open. Place towels inside to absorb water. Do not use sharp objects to remove ice.
  4. Cleaning: Once ice melts, clean the interior (see Care & Cleaning).
  5. Restart: Plug in, set thermostat, and reload food once temperature is restored.

WARNING! Never use electrical appliances or hot water to speed up defrosting.

Energy Saving Tips

Ensure the lid is always closed tightly. Check the seal (gasket) regularly for damage or debris.

Allow hot food to cool completely before freezing. Defrost regularly to maintain efficiency. Position away from heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

Care & Cleaning
