Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Remove all packaging materials and transit bolts if present.

  1. Choose location: Place on a flat, stable, dry surface away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  2. Level the appliance: Use adjustable feet to ensure the freezer is level for proper door seal.
  3. Ventilation: Ensure at least 10 cm clearance at the back and sides for air circulation.
  4. Electrical connection: Plug into a grounded 220-240V, 50Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  5. Door reversal (optional): Follow instructions in manual to change door swing direction.

WARNING! Do not install in damp or wet locations. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, clean the interior with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

  1. Power on: Plug in the appliance. The interior light should turn on when the door is opened.
  2. Set temperature: Turn the thermostat control knob to the middle setting (e.g., position 3).
  3. Initial cooling: Allow the freezer to run empty for at least 2-3 hours before adding food.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

The main control is the thermostat knob located inside the freezer compartment.

Thermostat Knob: Rotate to set temperature. Settings typically range from 1 (warmest) to 5 (coldest). A middle setting (3) is recommended for normal use. Turn to 0 or OFF to stop cooling.

Interior Light: Automatically turns on when the door is opened and off when closed.

Door Alarm (if applicable): Some models may have an audible alert if the door is left open for an extended period.

Using Your Freezer

For optimal performance and food preservation.

  1. Pre-freeze food: Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before freezing.
  2. Packaging: Use airtight containers, freezer bags, or wrap to prevent freezer burn.
  3. Organization: Label and date packages. Use baskets and shelves to organize items.
  4. Loading: Do not overfill. Allow space between items for cold air circulation.
  5. Max Freezing Capacity: Refer to manual for the maximum weight of fresh food that can be frozen within 24 hours.

Tip: A full freezer is more energy-efficient than an empty one, but air must still circulate.

Defrosting

This model requires manual defrosting. Defrost when the frost layer is about 5-7 mm thick.

  1. Turn off: Set the thermostat knob to 0 (OFF) and unplug the appliance.
  2. Remove food: Place frozen food in a cool box or another freezer to keep it frozen.
  3. Speed up defrosting: Place bowls of warm (not boiling) water inside and keep the door open.
  4. Remove water: Wipe away melted frost and water with a sponge or cloth. Do not use sharp tools to remove ice.
  5. Clean and dry: Clean the interior as described in the Care section. Dry thoroughly.
  6. Restart: Plug in, set thermostat to desired setting, and allow to cool before reloading food.

WARNING! Never use electrical heaters, steam cleaners, or sharp objects to speed up defrosting.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the appliance before any cleaning.

  1. Exterior: Clean with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Interior: Clean shelves and linings with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Rinse and dry.
  3. Door seal: Wipe clean with water to ensure a good seal. Check for damage periodically.
  4. Condenser coil (rear): Vacuum dust from the coil at the back once or twice a year to maintain efficiency.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals. Never pour water directly over the appliance.
