Loading and Organizing

For optimal performance and food preservation, organize food correctly.

  1. Use the upper shelves for ready-to-eat foods, frozen vegetables, and ice cream.
  2. Use the middle and lower shelves for meat, fish, and bulk items.
  3. Utilize door compartments for frozen fruits, herbs, and small packages.
  4. Label and date all packages.
  5. Do not overfill; allow cold air to circulate between items.

Tip: Divide large quantities into smaller portions for faster freezing and easier thawing.

Frost Free Operation

The Frost Free system automatically prevents ice accumulation. No manual defrosting is required under normal use.

  1. The system runs periodic cooling cycles to melt any forming frost.
  2. Water is channeled to an evaporation tray at the back of the appliance.
  3. Ensure the evaporation tray and air vents at the back are not blocked.
  4. If a thin layer of frost appears, it is normal and will be removed in the next cycle.

WARNING! Never use sharp objects to remove ice. If excessive frost builds up, contact service.

Energy Saving Tips

Keep the door closed as much as possible. Ensure the door seal is clean and intact.

Place the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room. Allow hot food to cool before freezing.

Regularly defrost (if manual intervention is needed) and clean the condenser coils at the back.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the appliance before cleaning.

  1. Interior: Clean shelves and interior surfaces with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Rinse and dry.
  2. Door seal: Wipe with a damp cloth to remove food residue.
  3. Exterior: Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Condenser coils: Vacuum the rear grille periodically to remove dust.

CAUTION! Do not use steam cleaners, scouring pads, or chemical solvents.
