The main control is the thermostat dial located inside the appliance.

Thermostat Dial: Rotate clockwise from '0' (Off) to '7' (Coldest). A medium setting ('3' or '4') is recommended for normal operation.

Fast Freeze Button: Press to activate the Fast Freeze function (indicator light will illuminate). This function runs for approximately 24 hours or until manually deactivated. Use when adding large quantities of unfrozen food.

Alarm Indicator: A red light and audible alarm will activate if the temperature rises significantly (e.g., door left open).

Using Your Freezer

For optimal performance and food preservation.

  1. Loading Food: Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before freezing. Package food in airtight containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn.
  2. Organisation: Use shelves and bins to organise items. Do not overpack; allow air to circulate.
  3. Fast Freeze: Activate this function 24 hours before adding a large load of fresh food.
  4. Freezing Fresh Food: Place new items against the side or rear walls where it is coldest.
  5. Door Open Alarm: If the alarm sounds, check that the door is fully closed. The alarm will stop when the temperature returns to normal.

Tip: Label and date all frozen items. Follow recommended storage times for different food types.
